"I am now certain that this cave was connected with the ancient cult of John the Baptist. Indeed, this may very well be 'the' cave of the early years of John's life, the place where he sought his first solitude in the 'wilderness' and the place where he practiced his baptisms."
Noted British/Israeli archaeologist Shimon Gibson, on a cave at Israel's Kibbutz Tzuba. Other archaeologists say it's a significant find but not necessarily John's cave.

1 Corinthians 7:9, according to Good as New, a new "women, gay, and sinner-friendly" paraphrase of the New Testament. It excludes 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, Jude, and Revelation but adds the Gospel of Thomas.
