Profiles of Vision

The subject of vision can become as dry as Ezekiel's old bones. Just thumb through any number of business books on the topic. They'll put you to sleep quicker than Halcion. Abstract principles are too often divorced from the life-giving stories that visions create.

Stories breathe life into the dry bones of vision. They help vision take on flesh and blood.

LEADERSHIP editors David Goetz and Bob Moeller tracked down three colorful and diverse stories of local church vision. Our purpose is not to lift these leaders and congregations onto a pedestal but simply to look at three different ways that God-inspired vision has affected pastors and churches.
