One Kingdom: The Campaign for Christianity Today Logo

We believe Christianity Today can serve a meaningful role in reenchanting the Church with Jesus and his kingdom, recasting a captivating vision of what it means to follow Jesus in our time, and rebuilding a community around that vision.

With three major initiatives, the One Kingdom Campaign seeks to raise $32 million through 2026, CT’s 70th anniversary, to empower three initiatives: the Global Initiative, the Next Gen Initiative, and the Big Tent Initiative. Each of these initiatives aims to broaden and deepen the difference we make in the world.

Our Promise

Biblically Rooted & Beautifully Orthodox

We recognize the Bible as the inspired Word of God and our ultimate authority in life and teaching. We believe orthodoxy and orthopraxy, right doctrine and right action, are not oppressive or irrational but true, good, and beautiful.

Globally Engaged & Thoughtfully Diverse

We seek to be a central nervous system for the body of Christ, reaching across generations, ethnicities, and continents with a capacious vision of what it means to follow Jesus in our time. We champion unity and solidarity, honoring our differences, valuing different perspectives, and believing through the Spirit we are better together.

Exquisitely Crafted & Surprisingly Creative

The stories and ideas of the kingdom of God can change the world. They deserve the most powerful media and the most talented storytellers and thinkers. We pursue excellence in all we do and strive to delight our audience with new angles and innovative offerings.

Always Infused with the Love of Christ and His Church

We never publish anything unless it is made for and with the love of Jesus and his church. The love of Christ permeates all our work, from cover stories and breaking news to the simple ways we treat our subjects and sources, colleagues and customers.

We Speak of both the beauty and the brokenness of the church

Sometimes we report on misconduct within our own community. We do so with a fierce affection for the truth, a thoroughgoing commitment to fairness for the accuser and the accused, and a desire for the good of the church. Wherever possible, we point toward a better way so the church can continue to grow in wisdom and grace

We Speak Love and Truth in All Directions

Our first and last allegiance is to Christ and his kingdom. We speak lovingly and truthfully to every person or party, without fear or favor.

Evil is Real and Good Triumphs in the End

We speak honestly about the flaws and failings of the church and the world. We speak with candor and confidence about sin, suffering, and evil because we know that forgiveness, redemption, and the triumph of good are the deep mystery and final truth of God’s creation.
