Max is pastor of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas and a best-selling author of multiple books including Grace, Fearless, Traveling Light, When God Whispers Your Name, Experiencing the Heart of Jesus, Facing Your Giants, and Before Amen.
Max and his wife, Denalyn, have three grown daughters, two in ministry, one in publishing, and one son-in-law also in full-time ministry.
