Manhattan Declaration
Drafted in 2009, and supported by a diverse coalition of Christian leaders, the Manhattan Declaration affirms the sanctity of human life, the traditional definition of marriage, and the preservation of religious liberty. The Declaration’s signers worry that these values are under attack in an increasingly secularized culture, and call upon Christians to defend them vigorously in word and deed—even to the point, where necessary, of civil disobedience.
