Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden (who plays Robb Stark) has been spending a lot of time recently in a world where Prince Charming doesn't exist – and if he did, his head would be on a spike somewhere in short order. This is funny because Madden has just been cast to play Prince Charming in Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh.

New York State's new gun control law is facing some criticism from a surprising source: Hollywood. Because filmmakers use real assault weapons and high-capacity magazines when filming, they are worried that they will have to move elsewhere. Read the full story here. Watch out, fantasu fans. Warner has acquired the rights to Dungeons and Dragons and is putting together a movie based on the incredibly popular role-playing game. Read more details here. Martin Scorsese has found his leading man for Silence: Andrew Garfield. Daniel Day Lewis was expected to be involved, but the Spider-Man star could bring in a younger set of viewers. When asked whether there was risk in making a Catholic movie at a time when the Church is so controversial, Scorsese said, "Not at all. Certainly, it's a religious subject, but the mystery that I'm talking about, Rodrigues' conflict with himself, and the essence of Christianity—which is something I believe in strongly—is timeless, and has to do with who we are as human beings." Read more here. Universal has postponed the release date of Jurassic Park 4, and not given us a new one.
