Sharelle Jackson: Learning to Live a Life of Balance

How living withing God’s callings enables balance in life.

Leadership Journal January 6, 2016

As a Chief Financial Officer working in a male-dominated environment, Scharelle discusses how difficult it can be to keep a balance between work and home as a single mother. She asserts that people often have expectations upon you and who you are when you arrive based on your life situations. However, she affirms that she can only arrive as a woman of God to try to balance her work and home life. One must only to do what that person is is called to do by God. It is when a person steps outside of what their calling that balance is compromised. So to remain balanced, Scharelle encourages us to live only according to the passions God has put in our lives.
