Dave Gibbons offers some practical advice for pastors who desire to develop a theology of vocation. He suggests starting with yourself and asking God to remind you of your calling. Then, begin listening to and affirming others, especially who they are and not necessarily what they do (i.e. a job). Spend time investing in others' inner life, relational life, and work life, helping them to bridge the gap between work and faith.
