Christian Media Ministry Acquires Church Secretary Today
Carol Stream, IL May 1, 2008 — Christianity Today International (CTI), publisher of Your Church magazine, Church Law & Tax Report, and Church Finance Today, today acquired Church Secretary Today from Christian Ministry Resources.
Church Secretary Today is a leading provider of training and resources for church secretaries, administrative assistants, and office professionals. The acquisition further broadens CTI's offerings to provide resources for people who keep their churches safe, legal, and financially sound.
"When I started Church Secretary Today in 1985, few resources existed for the training and support of church secretaries," said James Cobble Jr. with Christian Ministry Resources. "It was clear that church office professionals had a strong desire to grow and develop in their knowledge and skills. Church Secretary Today responds to an important need."
Church Secretary Today reaches more than 16,000 congregations in the United States and Canada with the monthly Church Secretary Today newsletter, online resource center, and office planner.
In 2006, CTI acquired Church Law & Tax Report, Church Finance Today, books, and video-based training curriculum from Christian Ministry Resources. Through its Your Church Media Group, CTI also publishes Your Church magazine books, curriculum, and websites-all focused on church administration, law, finance, and safety
